✓PTT Tips:

Kids love playdough and play foam! These cards are a great introduction to learning the upper case alphabet and building letters using play dough and play foam! I have used these at school in my OT sessions with preschool and kindergarten aged kids and also with my daughter when introducing a new group of letters. This is a fun multi sensory way to introduce letters prior to practicing forming the letters with crayons. I like to have my kids start with tracing a letter with their finger and then build it with the play dough or play foam. This dough and foam are perfect for rolling out to make the letters which also works on fine motor, hand strengthening, and bilateral hand skills. With the second set (playdough,) I love that the cards have a back side to use dry erase markers to trace and then write the letter with a nice large space for kids who are just learning letter formation. If using the play foam cards, they can be used in a page protector to trace with dry erase markers for further letter practice as well. Both are great for multi sensory pre writing fun! Even my kids who are resistive to writing often like this activity.

**playfoam has small circular foam pieces and should not be used with kids who mouth items due to choking hazard**
